This piece was taken from us on March 12, 2008 during the “We3 = Us2” portfolio class show. It suffered a break into twenty some parts and was not recoverable. I can only imagine the sound of its shatter as it hit the hard ceramic tile of the Helen S Smith Gallery at Green River Community College. It was presented to me in a rectangle cardboard box with the card of the owner of its back pack destroyer. There was no weeping, but a great sadness loomed over me for some hours as I contemplated the scenario of its undoing. Why?!? You will be missed AMBER CREAM!!! I am sorry you had to suffer the same fate of Humpty Dumpty….
